Salaudeen Named to College Soccer News Team of Week

Oregon State faces UC Davis Monday evening
CORVALLIS – Oregon State redshirt-freshman Kolade Salaudeen has been named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, the site announced Monday morning.

Salaudeen was a key part of an Oregon State defense that allowed just one goal over the course of two matches. He helped the Beavers lock down Penn State last Monday, as OSU held a clean sheet on the road to take a 1-0 win. Salaudeen followed that up by anchoring the Oregon State defense in Friday's 3-1 victory over CSU Bakersfield.

The defender, who is majoring in management, has played every minute for the Beavers this season after redshirting the 2017 campaign. Salaudeen earned Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week recognition last week.

The Beavers have started the 2018 season with a record of 3-1-1, and are undefeated in their last four matches. Oregon State will be back at Lorenz Field Monday, when it hosts UC Davis at 7 p.m.
