
Tchilao, Dotson and Djeffal Earn All-Region Honors

Tchilao named to first team
CORVALLIS – Seniors Don Tchilao and Hassani Dotson, and freshman Sofiane Djeffal have all earned All-Region honors, the United Soccer Coaches announced Wednesday. Tchilao made the first team, with Dotson earning a spot on the second team and Djeffal making the third team.

Tchilao was a Pac-12 First Team honoree, after leading the team with nine assists on the year. The senior also scored seven goals to finish the year tied for second in the conference with 23 points. A two-time Pac-12 Player of the Week and one-time College Soccer News National Player of the Week selection this season, Tchilao's year was highlighted by a game-winning overtime goal vs. UCLA.

Dotson played every minute for the Beavers this season, serving as a steadying force in the OSU midfield. The senior was a Pac-12 Second Team honoree, and earned conference Player of the Week recognition once this season. Dotson also found the net against UCLA, scoring the third goal in OSU's 4-3 win.

Djeffal made a mark on the Pac-12 in his debut campaign, earning conference Freshman of the Year and First Team honors. The midfielder started all 20 games, recording five goals and seven assists, including a game-winner against California on Oct. 14.

As a team, Oregon State finished the season with a record of 11-6-3, and made the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in program history. The Beavers ended the Pac-12 season second in the conference with a mark of 6-3-1, and head coach Terry Boss was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year in his first campaign as the program's skipper.
