Beavs In Bend: Chronicling the Trip East for the Men's Soccer Team
August 14, 2017 | Men's Soccer
Beavers Spent Three Days at OSU Cascades Campus
The three-day trip was an excellent opportunity for both new and returning players to get to know each other as the team set out for the OSU Cascades campus after Friday's morning training session. The three-hour trip took the team through the sites of the Willamette Forest before finally arriving in Bend later in the afternoon.Gearing up for #BeavsInBend #BagsArePacked#GoBeavs pic.twitter.com/8LenkKdG17

A second training session took place at Ridgeview High School in Redmond, Ore., before the players wrapped up the first day back at the campus.

The second day of the trip had a gameday feeling in the air, which was appropriate as the team prepared for the exhibition against the Raiders later that day. Oregon State fans got a taste of life as a member of the men's soccer program, as redshirt-sophomore Caleb Michael (Oakley, Calif.) took over the Pac-12 Conference Snapchat account for the day.

Fans in attendance for the exhibition had an opportunity to meet with members of the team for an autograph session prior to the start of the contest. The contest itself went out without a hitch as the players saw the field for their first action of the 2017 season.

The final day was quiet in comparison to the rest of the trip, as the team took an early breakfast before finally departing the OSU Cascades campus at 10 a.m. and returning to Corvallis in the early afternoon.
