Alex Krebs Joins Athletic Marketing

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Alex Krebs has been appointed Assistant Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement, OSU Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Barnes announced Tuesday.
He will be responsible for providing oversight of sport specific marketing, promotions and game day events. His duties also include assisting in the development and implementation of initiatives designed to drive attendance, as well as the supervision of Oregon State's student intern program, community and grassroots marketing and advertising and oversight of the Jr. Beavs Kid's Club and mascot programs.
Krebs' experience includes two years in the athletics marketing office at the University of Illinois. While at Illinois, he worked with women's basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball and gymnastics. He helped establish a new internship program at Illinois and provided oversight for the Fighting Illini Kids Club.
Krebs is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor's degree in recreation, sport and tourism with a concentration in sport management and marketing.
