Beavers Cruise Past Marist, 65-46

ORLANDO, Fla. – Oregon State used a balanced offensive attack to cruise past Marist, 65-46, in the final game at the AdvoCare Invitational on Sunday night at the HP Field House.

Tres Tinkle scored a team-high 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds, Drew Eubanks added 12 points and six boards, and freshman Alfred Hollins came off the bench and finished with 12 points and eight rebounds in 10 minutes.

Stephen Thompson Jr. scored nine points, Ethan Thompson chipped in seven points and a career-best nine rebounds, and Seth Berger, who got his first career start, added four points.

Gligorije Rakocevic grabbed a season-high seven rebounds in nine minutes.

The Beavers (3-3) never trailed, jumped out to a 15-2 advantage, led 28-25 at halftime and outscored the Red Foxes 37-21 in the second half to coast to the win.

It's the first time an opponent has scored less than 50 points since Feb. 28, 2016 when the Beavers defeated Washington State 69-49 at Gill Coliseum.

Oregon State returns to Gill Coliseum on Saturday when they host Loyola Marymount at 2 p.m. The game will be televised nationally on Pac-12 Network.
