
Jones, Markey and Tchilao Named to All-Pac-12 Second Team

Diaz and Dotson earn All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention
SAN FRANCISCO (Pac-12/Oregon State) – With the 2017 season under wraps for the Oregon State University men's soccer program, five distinguished members were named to the All-Pac-12 teams in a release by the conference office on Tuesday.
Senior forward Jordan Jones (Pacific Grove, Calif.), redshirt-senior defender Jalen Markey (Seattle, Wash.) and junior forward Don Tchilao (Chandler, Ariz.) were all named to the All-Pac-12 second team following their efforts for the Beavers throughout the campaign.
Sophomore defender Eric Diaz (Woodburn, Ore.) and junior midfielder Hassani Dotson (Federal Way, Wash.) both earned Honorable Mention All-Pac-12 status for their performances on the pitch.
Jones closes his Oregon State career with three selections to the All-Pac-12 second teams after earning a spot on the teams as a sophomore and junior. The Pacific Grove, Calif., native tallied 29 goals and six assists in his four-year OSU career for 64 points in 75 career appearances, with six goals and one assist coming in the 2017 campaign.
The Pacific Grove H.S. product recently earned the final Pac-12 Player of the Week honor following his sixth career brace against No. 20 Washington while leading the Beavers to a 4-3 comeback victory. Jones buried his eighth career game-winner to seal the decision for Oregon State.
Markey earned his first nod on the All-Pac-12 second team by becoming the resident ironman for the Beavers after amassing 5,901 minutes played in 67 career appearances. The Seattle native played the full 90 minutes in 61 career games for OSU with 16 of those coming during the 2017 season.
The O'Dea H.S. product recorded his first career goal the previous week in the win over the Huskies and also totaled three assists in his career while serving as a cornerstone on the backline the last four years.
Tchilao earned his spot on the All-Pac-12 second team after finishing with four goals and one assist on the year, all in conference play. The Chandler, Ariz., native posted his first career brace on the heels of a 4-2 decision over San Diego State on Oct. 29 and had the game-winner against the Aztecs in the first meeting on Oct. 8.
In his three-year career, the Chandler H.S. product owns eight goals and four assists in 51 career appearances.
Diaz moved into the starting rotation on a regular basis for 2017 en route to his first All-Pac-12 honorable mention selection as the Woodburn, Ore., native started 17 games and saw the full 90 minutes in 14 matches. Diaz became a mainstay on the back line alongside Markey as the Beavers powered their way through the conference schedule.
In only two years, the Woodburn H.S. product owns six assists through 35 career appearances and 2,722 minutes played.
Dotson ends his third year in the Orange and Black as an All-Pac-12 honorable mention after posting three goals on 16 starts for Oregon State in 2017. The Federal Way, Wash., native put away the game-winner in a 2-1 win over No. 17 Cal on Oct. 12 for OSU's third win over a ranked opponent on the year.
In his three-year career, the Beamer H.S. product has made 52 career appearances for the Beavers with four goals and three assists.
