Beavers Sweep Northern Colorado

The Beavers improved to 4-3 this season with the win
STOCKTON, Calif. – Lila Toner paced Oregon State with 11 kills and Lanesha Reagan tallied nine as the Beavers swept Northern Colorado in the team's first of two matches Saturday at the Spanos Center.

Set scores were 25-15, 25-16 and 25-9.

McKenna Hollingsworth finished with her first double double of the season, collecting 11 digs in addition to 27 assists. The redshirt sophomore joins Toner (three), Reagan (two) and Mary-Kate Marshall (one) in Beavers with double doubles this year.

Oregon State (4-3 overall) dominated offensively, hitting .309 – including a .393 clip in set three – while holding Northern Colorado (4-6) to a -.032 percentage. The Beavers also out-dug the Bears, 49 to 47, and finished with five blocks to three for Northern Colorado.

Toner posted 11 kills for the second consecutive match, adding five digs and a block. In two matches in Stockton, she has 22 kills and 24 digs.

Reagan, meanwhile, was just shy of double figure kills for the sixth time this season. She also had two service aces and eight digs.

Marshall and Serena Bruin both tallied six kills, while Daniela Vargas had three.
