OSU returns to Gill Coliseum Sunday for a 3 p.m. match with Washington
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Mary-Kate Marshall finished with a match-best 16 kills and Lanesha Reagan tallied her fifth double double of the season but the Oregon State volleyball lost in four sets to No. 10 Washington State Friday night at Gill Coliseum.

Set scores were 25-19, 15-25, 20-25 and 18-25.

Marshall continued her climb up the record books, and now finds herself in sole possession of nine in Oregon State career history for kills with 1,173. The junior surpassed Staci Hintze (previously 10th) and Leslie Preiss (previously ninth), and is now eyeing eighth place, which she will hold once she reaches 1,200 kills.

She added six digs against the Cougars.

Reagan, meanwhile, finished with 12 kills and 10 digs for her first double double since Sept. 16 against Wyoming. She also had three blocks – including two solo blocks.

Kory Cheshire was just shy of her season-best 11 kills, recording nine to go along with two service aces and five blocks. Lila Toner tallied seven kills and two service aces, while McKenna Hollingsworth finished with 36 assists.

Overall, the Beavers (8-8 overall, 1-4 Pac-12 Conference) finished with 10 blocks, with five credited as solo. Hollingsworth, who tallied four overall blocks, also finished with two of the solo category. Cheshire's five blocks led the team.

Oregon State claimed the first set, 25-19, after hitting .282 against the Cougars (15-2, 5-0), who came into the match leading the Pac-12 for opponents hitting percentage.
