Game Notes
• Weather at game time was 52 degrees, with light rain. The wind was from the Southwest at 10 mph.
• The game was televised by Pac-12 Networks. Kevin Calabro was the play-by-play announcer; Yogi Roth was the analyst and Lewis Johnson was the sideline reporter.
• It was the 62nd meeting between the teams. UCLA leads the series 42-16-4.
• Oregon State won the toss and elected to receive. The Bruins kicked off from the south end zone.
• Oregon State captains were Josh Mitchell, Isaac Seumalo and Jason Grimble. UCLA's captains were Cameron Judge, Paul Perkins, Taylor Lagace and Jake Brendel.
• Oregon State wore orange jerseys, white pants and white helmets. UCLA wore white jerseys, white pants and gold helmets.
• Attendance for OSU's annual Dad's Weekend game was a season-high 38,074.
• Saturday was Oregon State's first afternoon home game since Nov. 8, 2014. OSU's previous six home games started at 6 p.m. or later; 11 of OSU's last 15 games have been at night.
Oregon State Team Notes
• The Beavers forced a 3-and-out on UCLA's first possession. It's the first time since the Sept. 12 Michigan game an opponent did not score on its first possession.
• OSU held an opponent scoreless in the first quarter for the first time since the Sept. 4 Weber State game.
Oregon State Individual Notes
• Redshirt sophomore Brandon Arnold made his first career start, at safety. He is OSU's 23rd different player to make his first career start in 2015, the third-highest number in the country.
• Senior tailback Storm Barrs-Woods gained 87 yards on 14 carries, his second-best output of the season. Barrs-Woods now has 2,643 career yards, fifth-best all-time at OSU.
• Redshirt freshman quarterback Marcus McMaryion had a career-long 47-yard completion to redshirt sophomore Hunter Jarmon.
• Jarmon's 47-yard reception was his longest of the season.
• Redshirt freshman Bright Ugwoegbu had his first career sack in the first quarter, for an 8-yard loss.
• Junior Nick Porebski had a career-long 66-yard punt in the second quarter. His previous best was 57 yards.
• Porebski punted seven times for a 42.1-yard average and had five punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
• Junior cornerback Devin Chappell had a career-high 11 tackles. Junior linebacker Caleb Saulo also had 11 tackles, his second double-digit game of the season.
• Freshman tight end Noah Togai had a three receptions for 18 yards, both career highs. He had two catches for three yards coming into the game.
