Game Notes
• Weather at game time was 49 degrees, with bright sunshine.
• The game was televised by Pac-12 Networks. Ted Robinson was the play-by-play announcer; Glenn Parker was the analyst and Jill Savage was the sideline reporter.
• It was the 100th meeting between the teams. Washington leads the series 62-32-4.
• Oregon State won the toss and deferred. Washington elected to received, and defended the south end zone.
• Oregon State wore black jerseys, black pants and black helmets. Washington wore white jerseys, white pants and gold helmets.
• Attendance was 34,390.
Oregon State Team Notes
• The groundbreaking ceremony for the $42 million Valley Football Center expansion was held before the game.
• OSU closed the season with a 2-4 record at Reser Stadium. The next home game is Sept. 17, 2016, against Idaho State.
• OSU said farewell to seniors Lavonte Barnett, Storm Barrs-Woods, Kellen Clute, Ryan Cope, Jalen Grimble, Jashwa James, Josh Mitchell, Naji Patrick, Kyle Peko, Ali'I Robins, Larry Scott and Shane Wallen on Senior Day.
Oregon State Individual Notes
• Freshman tailback Paul Lucas had a career-long 76-yard run in the first quarter. His previous best was 33 yards against California on Nov. 14.
• Lucas gained a career-high 82 yards on four carries. His previous best was 70 yards on 13 carries, at California on Nov. 14.
• Redshirt freshman quarterback Marcus McMaryion threw his first career touchdown pass, a 24-yarder to Victor Bolden in the third quarter.
• McMaryion established career highs in attempts (16), completions (8) passing yards (109) and rushing yards (21).
• Redshirt freshmen safeties Gabe Ovgard and Brandon Arnold, junior linebacker Ricky Ortiz and sophomore linebacker Manase Hungalu led the defense. Ovgard matched his career high with eight tackles.
• Ortiz set a career best with eight tackles, Arnold matched his career high with seven; Hungalu had eight tackles, including a tackle for loss. Ortiz had two tackles for loss and a sack.
• Sophomore placekicker Garrett Owens made his 17th consecutive extra point this season, and the 34th straight in his career. He was also 17-for-17 in 2014.
• Senior linebacker Jashwa James and junior cornerback Treston Decoud each had their first sacks of the season.
• Ryan Nall's 37-yard third-quarter reception was the longest of his career.
