Game Notes
• Weather at game time was 90 degrees and sunny. Wind was from the East at 12 mph.
• The game aired on FOX Sports 1. Joe Davis was the play-by-play announcer while Brady Quinn was the analyst and Kris Budden was the sideline reporter.
• Oregon State won the coin toss and elected to defer. The Beavers kicked off to begin the game and defended the north end zone.
• Oregon State captains were Isaac Seumalo, Naji Patrick, Larry Scott and Josh Mitchell.
• Oregon State wore black helmets with white jerseys and black pants. Arizona wore white helmets with blue jerseys and maize pants.
• Both teams wore Unified for UCC ribbon stickers on their helmets in honor of the fallen from the tragic events of Oct. 1 at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Ore. (115 miles south of Corvallis) The Beavers will wear the ribbon for the rest of the season.
• Attendance for the game was 52,987.
Oregon State Individual Notes
• Paul Lucas' 1st quarter rush was the first of his career.
• Brent VanderVeen 2nd quarter reception was the first of his career.
• VanderVeen's pass attempt on the fake punt in the 3rd quarter was the first career pass attempt for the former quarterback.
• Baker Pritchard (DE) and Noah Togiai (H-Back) made the first start of their careers.
• Lavonte Barnett's 1st quarter sack was his first of the season and gives him 5.5 in his career.
• The 1st quarter tackle for loss by the combination of Kendall Hill and Brandon Arnold was the first for both players' career.
• Nick Porebski's 57-yard 4th quarter punt is the longest of his career.
