Game Notes
• Weather at game time was 69 degrees and partly cloudy. Wind was from the Southeast at 15 mph.
• The game aired on ESPN2. Bob Wischusen was the play-by-play announcer while Matt Millen was the analyst and Jeannine Edwards was the sideline reporter..
• Oregon State won the coin toss and elected to defer. The Beavers will kickoff from the east end zone.
• Oregon State captains were Sean Mannion, Ryan Murphy, Michael Doctor and Terron Ward.
• Oregon State wore black helmets with white jerseys and white pants. Stanford wore cardinal jerseys with white pants with white helmets.
• Attendance for the game was 48,401.
Oregon State Team Notes
• Oregon State played without four starters available from last week: Lavonte Barnett (DE) – ankle; Jaswha James (DE) – knee; Storm Woods (RB) – knee; Gavin Andrews (OT) – ankle.
• OSU allowed a 50-yard punt return for a touchdown to Stanford's Ty Montgomery. It is the first punt returned for a touchdown against OSU since 2011 (Jamal Miles, at Arizona State – 10/1/11).
• The punt blocked by OSU's Ricky Ortiz was the first punt block by the Beavers since 2011 (Clayton York, vs. Arizona – 10/8/11).
Oregon State Individual Notes
• Brandon Bennett-Jackson and Luke Hollingsworth started at defensive end – it is the first career start for both … Dustin Stanton made his first career start at right tackle.
• Ryan Murphy's 1st quarter interception was his first of the year and seventh of his career.
• Murphy's 2nd quarter forced fumble was his first of the year.
• Chris Brown's 1st quarter touchdown run was his first of the year and second of his career.
• Malcolm Marable's tackle-for-loss in the 2nd quarter was the first of his career.
• Ricky Ortiz's 3rd quarter punt block is the first of his career.
• Luke Del Rio's 4th quarter completion to Rahmel Dockery was Del Rio's first completion of his career.
• Jacob Wark's 4th quarter reception was the first of his OSU career.
• Damien Haskins' 4th quarter touchdown run was the first carry and first touchdown of his career.
