Game Notes
- Weather at game time was 59 degrees, clear and calm.
- The game aired on FOX Sports 2 and the Pac-12 Networks. Tim Brando was the announcer, Joel Klatt was the analyst. There was no sideline reporter.
- Oregon State's captains were Sean Mannion, Ryan Murphy, Michael Doctor and Ryan Anderson.
- Oregon State won the coin toss and chose to defer. Utah elected to receive, defending the south end zone.
- Oregon State wore its orange jerseys with white pants and orange helmets. Utah wore white jerseys with white pants and white helmets.
- Attendance for the game was 40,479.
Oregon State Team Notes
- It was Oregon State's first overtime game since a 51-48 win at Utah on Sept. 14, 2013.
- Oregon State dropped to 3-6 in all OT games and to 1-2 in OT games at Reser Stadium.
Oregon State Individual Notes
- With 272 passing yards tonight, Sean Mannion now has 12,014 career yards, moving him into second place in Pac-12 history. He displaced USC's Carson Palmer (11,818).
- Victor Bolden's 52-yard reception on the play that moved Mannion into second place was the longest of his career.
- Senior place kicker Trevor Romaine made his first three field goal attempts to stretch his streak to 11 in a row over the past two years before missing a 37-yarder in the second overtime.
- Romaine tied his record for most field goals in a game with three. He has eight games with three field goals. He also tied his personal best for attempts.
- Defensive tackle Dylan Wynn had his first career interception.
- Jordan Villamin scored his first two career touchdowns, on passes of 72 and 2 yards from Mannion.
- Mannion threw two touchdown passes and tied Washington's Keith Price for 11th on the Pac-12 career list with 75. He passed Stanford's Steve Stenstrom, who had 74.
- Strong safety Justin Strong and defensive tackle Brandon Bennett-Jackson had their first career sacks, each for a loss of one yard.
- Strong recorded his first forced fumble.
- DT Bud Delva had his first fumble recovery.
- Senior place kicker Trevor Romaine made all three of his field goal attempts and is 7-for-7 this season. He has made 11 in a row over the past two years; his last miss was a 48-yarder at Arizona State on Nov. 16, 2013.
- Romaine tied his record for most field goals in a game with three. He has eight games with three field goals.
- Garrett Andrews started at right tackle after starting the previous five games at left tackle.
- Sean Harlow started at left tackle, after starting the previous five games at right tackle.
