Harrison Places 31st in Mile at NCAAs

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Freshman Sammy Harrison recorded her second fastest time in the mile freestyle this season at the NCAA Championships on Saturday, placing seventh among freshmen and 31st overall.
Harrison, who impressed with her finish in the 500-yard freestyle on Thursday, added to her solid weekend performance with a time of 16:21.78 in the mile-long swim. It's not only her second fastest time in the 1,650-yarder, it's also the second fastest in school history. Harrison broke the school mark with her 16:17.78 at the Pac-12 Championships a couple of weeks ago.
