On keeping the game interesting down the stretch...
"We sure did. Part of the reason that it's interesting is because we haven't won one like this. So we are all trying a little too hard so you make some aggressive mistakes out there. I thought we were a just a tiny bit hesitant, but we have been through this enough where we were able to gather ourselves right there at the end and make that play down here that made it hard for them. That offensive rebound (by Roberto Nelson) was just unbelievable. Three games ago we wouldn't make that play. Shoot, one game ago we wouldn't."
On the offensive rebounds resulting in extra possessions for the Beavers...
"They were the key to the game. We knew we couldn't keep them from shooting the ball that poorly the whole game. They are at home. (DaVonte) Lacy is a good shooter, (Brock) Motum is a good shooter and now D.J. (Shelton) is making shots. We knew that they would start hitting them. We were just hoping it wouldn't happen until the end of the game."
On the turnovers the Beavers forced at the beginning of the second half...
"That helped us get a little cushion. We hadn't planned on playing that press that long, but it was working for us so we kept it on a little longer than we normally would. They've done a good job with it in the past. I'm sure not having Mike (Ladd) out there hurt."
On out-rebounding the Cougars...
"Another thing we did this time around that we didn't the first time we played them was rebound better. We have been a pretty good rebounding team this season, and they killed us on the boards at our place, and we wanted to make sure that didn't happen this time around."
