The Oregon State swim team finished the final day of the Pac-12 Championships, with three different athletes qualifying for the finals of their respective events.
The Oregon State swim team finished the second day of competition at the Pac-12 Championships tonight. The Beavers had two athletes qualify for the finals of the 200-yard individual medley and both placed in the top-20 overall.
The Oregon State swim team is set to host the Seattle University Redhawks this Saturday in a non-conference dual meet. The dual is set to start at 12:00 p.m. at the Dixon Recreation Center in Corvallis, Ore.
JUNIOR (2011-2012): Competed in five different events: 100, 200, 500, 1,000 and 1,650 yard freestyles ... Swam her fastest times of the season in the 100 (53.90) and 200 yard freestyles (1:54.49) at the Pac-12 Championships ... Swam her fastest times of the season in the 500 (5:08.34) and 1,650 yard freestyles (17:41.51) at the Arena Invitational ... Her best finish on the season was against Idaho where she finished second in the 500 yard freestyle ... Was selected to the Pac-12 All-Academic Second Team.
SOPHOMORE (2010-2011: Competed in six events: 100, 200, 500, 1,000 and 1,650 yard freestyle and the 100 yard butterfly ... Participated in nine meets during the season ... Competed in the 500 yard freestyle nine times during the season recording her fastest time at the Pac-10 Championships with a time of 5:09.63 ... Recorded her fastest time at the 1,000 yard freestyle at the Arizona State dual finishing with a time of 11:04.20 ... Was selected to the Pac-10 All-Academic First Team.
FRESHMAN (2009-2010): Competed in five events: 100 free, 200 free, 500 free, 1,500 free and 1,650 free ... Participated in 11 meets during her freshman year ... Set career bests in the 100 free (54.81), 500 free (5:16.09) and the 1,650 free (18:18.06) at the Toshiba Classic.
TUALATIN: Lettered four years in swimming for Coach Jeanine Serrano ... Was named team captain her senior year ... Holds the school record for the 400 free relay ... 4-time first-team all-league, 3-time first-team all-state, 1-time second-team all-state ... All-American in the 400 free relay ... District champion in 200 free senior year ... Senior year MVP ... Was undefeated in duel-meets all four years ... Was undefeated in district championship meets all four years ... Lettered twice in cross country.
