Head coach Craig Robinson
"I saw some good things in there, but there were too many bad things. I was happy with the way the second team played D. I think the start of that second half put us behind. I thought we had some momentum going into the halftime, and we scored on our first play and then they scored like six or seven points. That kind of took the wind out of the sails. Then I put the second group in and they played evenly and kind of helped us get our footing. So that's the positive from it."
On the play of Olaf Schaftenaar...
"Olaf was a positive. All of the guys off the bench were a positive. All of the freshmen handled themselves against the 24th-ranked team in the country."
On the strong start by the Beavers and responding to the setting...
"Well, overall no. But at the start of the game, I thought we came out ready. When you play a team that has this many good players, you can't have any lulls. If you do, you get behind and then it's hard to play from behind when you're on the road."
On the play of Oregon State's veterans...
"We can't win if we don't get consistent play from our older guys. We are looking for consistency. We are looking for leadership."
On getting Victor Robbins back on Saturday...
"I suspect both of them will probably get in the game. They will be fresh and we need their fresh bodies."
On getting a big body back to help the team...
"We are missing three big bodies actually - Daniel Gomis, Angus Brandt and Eric Moreland. But no excuses. Even with the guys we have left, we are capable of playing well. I was extremely happy with the effort. The effort was good. It's the execution that we've got to be better at."
