February 16, 2012
Oregon State started Ahmad Starks, Jared Cunningham, Eric Moreland, Devon Collier and Angus Brandt. That lineup had started three previous games this season and went 2-1 (wins over UCLA and USC; loss at Arizona State).
The Beavers scored 80+ points for the 13th time this season and are now 10-3 in those games.
Jared Cunningham now has a steal in 28 consecutive games, the third longest streak in Oregon State history, trailing only Gary Payton who had streaks of 34 (Feb. 1989-March 1990) and 29 (Feb. 1988-Feb. 1989).
With three steals in the game, Cunningham moved into third on Oregon State's career steals list with 200 to pass Brent Barry (199). Ray Blume is second with 204 and Gary Payton, who is the Pac-12's all-time leader, is first with 321.
Devon Collier scored in double-figures for the 11th consecutive game.
Roberto Nelson scored 19 points, his highest total since scoring the same amount against Stanford in the quadruple-overtime game on Jan. 7 in Corvallis.
After going three straight games without a blocked shot, Eric Moreland has 10 in the past three games.
