PERSONAL—Born 2/11/80 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska...son of Walt and Pam Trimmer...his father is an engineer and his mother is a physician assistant...he is in the College of Business and is a business administration major...has a younger brother, Jordan, 18...entered OSU with a 3.85 GPA...one of his prep teammates, Robert Jackson III, played for Illinois...his top athletic thrill as a prep athlete was playing in the 1997 state basketball tournament at the Rose Garden in Portland...selected OSU because, “it is close to home and OSU has an excellent coaching staff and excellent facilities.”
OSU—(2002—Senior)—Seth will enter his senior year having played in 32 out of a possible 35 games in three years...he has started 13 games for OSU, including a current streak of six straight...he has caught 19 passes in his OSU career for 330 yards (17.4 average) and two touchdowns...he has carried the ball twice for minus 4 yards...Seth opened spring drills as the No. 2 flanker behind James Newson...he completed spring drills in the same position...Seth, as a three-year veteran, gives OSU depth at wide receiver...has excellent speed and gives the Beavers a constant deep threat...during winter conditioning, Seth posted weightlifting bests of 385 in the back squat, 305 in the bench press, 270 in the power clean and 254 in the push press...his top vertical jump mark was 30.5 inches.

(2000—Sophomore)—With Robert Prescott suspended for the first three games of the season, Seth started the first three games at flanker…he caught one pass for 13 yards vs. Eastern Washington, one at New Mexico for 4 yards and caught a 9-yard pass vs. Stanford…Seth was a backup flanker in the final nine games of the season, plus he played on special teams…Seth was a first-team Verizon Academic All-District VIII selection and he was named honorable mention on the Pacific-10 All-Academic team...Seth entered his sophomore season having played in nine games in 1999...Seth, a converted high school quarterback, entered spring drills as the No. 2 flanker on offense...he maintained that position through spring drills...in the four spring scrimmages, Seth caught one pass for 10 yards in the third scrimmage...in the Spring Game, Seth caught one pass for 9 yards for the losing Black squad...Seth posted weightlifting bests of 385 in the back squat, 295 in the bench press and 247 in the power clean.
(1999-Redshirt Freshman)-Seth played in nine games in 1999, missing the USC and Oregon games, plus Hawaii in the Oahu Bowl...Seth played on special teams and for a few plays each game as a flanker, while playing behind Roddy Tompkins and T.J. Houshmandzadeh...he failed to catch a pass during the season...following the 1999 season, Seth was selected honorable mention on the Pac-10 All-Academic team...Seth reported to spring drills as the No. 3 flanker...he reported to fall camp in the same position on the depth chart...showed marked improvement from the start of spring drills to the conclusion...Seth failed to catch a pass in the first scrimmage at Roseburg (4/17) and caught 3 for 21 yards on 4/24 at Prothro Field...caught 1 pass for 6 yards for the winning White squad in the final spring game at Hillsboro (5/1)...in the weight room, Seth produced personal bests of 240 pounds in the hang clean, 280 in the bench press, 340 in the back squat and 230 in the incline...his best vertical jump was 28.50 inches...tested for only 5.92 percent body fat.
(1998—Freshman)—Seth reported to OSU for the start of fall camp and performed as a quarterback during the first two weeks of fall camp and then was switched to wide receiver and spent the season as a redshirt.
CRESCENT VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL, Corvallis, OR—(1995-97)—Seth committed to Oregon State in September of 1997...was also recruited by Stanford, Oregon, Nebraska and Colorado State and received recruiting interest from over 60 schools, including almost every Pac-10 school and many WAC schools...as a senior, he was a preseason honorable mention All-American by SuperPrep Magazine and was named all-region (Western) by PrepStar Magazine at quarterback...played quarterback and free safety for Coach Mike Fagan at Crescent Valley, earning three letters...was a two-year starter at quarterback and free safety...ran 4.54 speed in 40 in high school...was named honorable mention all-state (Oregonian) as punter as a senior...sprained his ankle in Crescent Valley's first game of the 1997 season, a victory over South Albany, and it slowed him down the rest of the year...finished the season with 490 yards rushing on 107 carries (4.6 average) and five touchdowns...completed 69 of 147 passes (.469 percentage) for 615 yards and two touchdowns...a knee injury stopped his senior season after eight games...as a junior, he rushed for 517 yards on 110 carries (4.7 average) and five touchdowns...completed 77 of 151 passes (.510 percentage) for 867 yards and six touchdowns...earned three letters in basketball while playing for Coach Bruce Reid...helped Crescent Valley earn a sixth-place finish at the Class 4A tournament his junior year...Seth earned second-team All-Valley League honors in basketball as a senior...earned four letters in track under Coach Bob Holt...posted times of 10.9 in the 100 meters and 22.3 in the 200 meters as a junior...was a member of Crescent Valley's state-champion 4x100-meter relay team that posted a time of 42.2, and was the district 200-meter champion...Coach Fagan said, “he is a very intelligent kid and is like having a coach on the field.
