Game Notes
• Captains for OSU at the start of the game were James Dockery, Alex Linnenkohl, Gabe Miller, Stephen Paea, Dwight Roberson, James Rodgers and Suaesi Tuimaunei. OSU won the coin toss and elected to receive.
Oregon State Team Notes
• Oregon State started four current or former walk-ons along the offensive line. Wilder McAndrews (LT), Grant Johnson (LG) and Mike Remmers (RT) are former walk-ons, while Burke Ellis (RG) is still a non-scholarship player.
Oregon State Individual Notes
• Ryan Katz's two touchdown performance is the first mult-touchdown game of his career.
• Katz's 34-yard touchdown pass is the longest touchdown pass of Katz's career and longest touchdown reception of Bishop's career.
• James Rodgers' 26-yard touchdown reception was the 15th of his career, moving him into a tie for fifth on OSU's all-time career receiving touchdowns list.
• James Rodgers' four receptions gives him 165 in his career to move into third on OSU's all-time list.
• Johnny Hekker's completion to Jordan Poyer in the second quarter is his second completion in his last two games. He also completed a pass to Lance Mitchell in the 2009 MAACO Bowl Las Vegas.
• Ryan Katz (QB), Wilder McAndrews (LT), Burke Ellis (RG), Rueben Robinson (MLB) and Taylor Henry (DE) started for the first time in their careers.
• Lance Mitchell's 18 tackles were a career-high and ties for eighth on OSU's all-time single game list. Previously, Mitchell recorded 7 tackles against Portland State and against Oregon in 2009.
• Dwight Roberson's 3rd quarter interception is the first of his career.
