Game Notes
• Game time weather was cloudy at 48 degrees. Wind was 12 mph from the South, Southeast. Chance of precipitation was 10 percent.
• Attendance for the game was 45,389. It is the third-largest attendance of the season at Reser Stadium and the sixth-largest of all-time.
• The game aired live on FSN Northwest with Tom Glasglow doing play-by-play, while Steve Preece did color. Jason Stiles was the sideline analyst.
• The Beavers appeared on television for the ninth time this season and have been on TV for 11 consecutive dating back to 2009. OSU has been on in 39 of their last 40 games. The Beavers are scheduled to be on television in all 12 regular season games this season.
• Oregon State captains at the start of the game were Alex Linnenkohl, Brandon Hardin, Gabe Miller and Stephen Paea.
• Washington State won the coin toss and elected to defer to the second half. Oregon State received the ball in the north end zone.
• Oregon State wore black uniform tops with black pants. Washington State was dressed in white tops and white pants.
Oregon State Team Notes
• The 0-0 first-quarter score was the first of the season for Oregon State.
• The Beavers were shut out in the first half, trailing Washington State 14-0. It marked the first time the Beavers had been shut out in a half at home since Oct. 2, 2004 against California. It had been 37 home games since (79 games overall), or 74 halves.
• The loss to the Cougars snapped a three-game win streak by the Beavers in the series.
• The 48 plays run by the Beavers is the fewest by Oregon State in a game since posting 49 against Washington State in 1993.
• The Beavers lost their first fumble of the season in the fourth quarter.
Oregon State Individual Notes
• Both Stephen Paea and Dwight Roberson were credited with forced fumbles, giving each seven for their careers. That ties them for the career Oregon State record with Michael Hale (1991-94), Inoke Breckterfield (1995-98) and Bill Swancutt (2001-04).
• Jacquizz Rodgers moved into 12th all-time in Pacific-10 Conference rushing history by tallying 93 yards on 15 carries against the Cougars. He now has 3,586 rushing yards. Rodgers surpassed Washington State's Rueben Mayes (1982-85 – 3,519 yards). Next up is former Beaver Steven Jackson, who is 11th (and third in OSU history) with 3,625 yards from 2001-03.
• Markus Wheaton caught two touchdown passes for his first career two-touchdown game.

• Washington State's last Pac-10 victory was against Washington, 16-13 (2OT), on Nov. 22, 2008.
• Washington State's last road Pac-10 win was Nov. 24, 2007, a 42-35 win at Washington. That was also the Cougars' last road win of any kind.
• Logwone Mitz's second-quarter touchdown run was his fourth of the season, which at the time tied him for the team lead with James Montgomery. Montgomery would score from a yard out later in the quarter for his fifth rushing touchdown of the season.
• Casey Hamlett's two sacks in the first half were his first two of the season and fourth of his career.
• The WSU defense held Oregon State scoreless in the first quarter, marking back-to-back games the Cougars have held its opponent scoreless in the first period (California was the other).
• Today's contest marks the first time the Cougars have held an opponent scoreless in the first half since leading 10-0 against Stanford, Nov. 10, 2007 at Martin Stadium. It also ties the largest halftime lead since WSU led 17-3 agaisnt Portland State, Sept. 20, 2008.
• Aire Justin's second-quarter interception was his second in as many weeks. The last time a Cougar had interceptions in consecutive games was Husain Abdullah during the 2007 season: vs. Idaho (9/15) and at USC (9/22).
• Marquess Wilson's third-quarter touchdown reception was his fifth of the season. The freshman record is six by Philip Bobo during the 1990 campaign.
• WSU's rushing total of 221 yards are the most by a Cougar team since gaining 274 against UCLA, Oct. 27, 2007.
• Jeff Tuel's 79 rushing yards are a career-high, eclipsing his previous mark of 34, which he did twice.
• Senior receiver Daniel Blackledge matched his career-high with 76 receiving yards against Oregon State. He also had 76 receiving yards last week against California.
