Game Notes
• Game time weather was cloudy at 54 degrees. Wind was 10 mph from the South, Southeast. Chance of precipitation was 10 percent.
• Attendance for the game was 45,439, the largest crowd of the season and fourth-largest ever at Reser Stadium.
• The game aired live on Fox College Sports with Steve Physioc doing play-by-play, while Yogi Roth did color. Samantha Steele was the sideline analyst.
• Oregon State captains at the start of the game were Stephen Paea, James Dockery, Dwight Roberson and Rashaad Reynolds.
• Oregon State won the coin toss. The Beavers elected to defer and kicked off towards the North end zone.
• Oregon State wore orange uniform tops with black pants. California was dressed in white tops and yellow pants.
• Saturday's game was Oregon State's annual Homecoming game.
Oregon State Team Notes
• Oregon State improved to 40-15 (.727) in the months of October, November and December dating back to the 2004 season. In October alone, OSU is 19-7 (.731).
• Head coach Mike Riley won his 68th game, which puts him six behind tying Lon Stiner for the most in school history. He improved to 6-4 all-time against California, and has won four straight over the Golden Bears.
• The Beavers won their fourth consecutive game over the Golden Bears and is 10-2 over the last 12 games against California. Prior to that stretch, the Beavers were 20-31 all-time against the Golden Bears and had lost six consecutive.
• The 28 first-half points for the Beavers was the most this season for the Beavers. OSU's previous high was 24 against Arizona State.
• The Beavers held California to zero points in the first half, the second Pac-10 opponent Oregon State has done it against since the 2009 season. In 2009, it was done against UCLA.
• The Beavers are 33-7 over their last 82 games when committing fewer turnovers than their opponent.
Oregon State Individual Notes
• Jacquizz Rodgers finished with 119 yards rushing, giving him 3,433 for his career. That mark is now the 14th-best total in Pac-10 history. Next on the list is No. 13 Ontiwaun Carter (Arizona – 1991-94), with 3,457 yards and No. 12 Rueben Mayes (Washington State – 1982-85) who had 3,519. Quizz surpassed O.J. Simpson for 14th.
• Jacquizz Rodgers' 119 yards rushing marked his 18th career 100-yard rushing effort.
• Jacquizz Rodgers' first-quarter touchdown pass was the second of his career, and first this season. He has thrown two career passes.
• Jacquizz Rodgers scored a touchdown in the first quarter to give him at least one rushing touchdown in every game this season. He has scored at least one rushing touchdown in 12 straight games and in 27 of 31 career games played.
• Jacquizz Rodgers also scored a touchdown in the second and third quarters, giving him four multiple-TD games in 2010 and 13 for his career. He has four career games with three or more rushing touchdowns.
• Jacquizz Rodgers tallied three receptions, giving him 125 for his career. That is now the most receptions ever in a career by an Oregon State running back.
• Colby Prince's first-quarter touchdown reception was not only his first career touchdown reception, it was also his first career reception.
• Joe Halahuni caught a 17-yard touchdown in the second quarter, his fourth score of the season and eighth of his career.
• Markus Wheaton finished the game with 73 yards rushing, surpassing the 46 he had in the previous six games entering Saturday.
• Kevin Frahm posted two sacks Saturday, his first of the season. He now has 3 ½ sacks for his career.
• Keith Pankey recovered his second career fumble in the second quarter.
