Game Notes
• Attendance for the game was 45,274.
• Oregon State won the coin toss. The Beavers elected to defer. Washington received the ball to start the game in the North end zone.
• The game was televised by FSN Northwest. The crew for the game was Tom Glasglow (play-by-play), Steve Preece (analyst), Rashad Floyd (sideline reporter) and Angie Mentink (pre- and post game).
• The Beavers wore all black for the game and Washington was clad in white with light yellow pants.
• The game was the 28th consecutive televised for the Beavers, a school record.
• OSU's captains were Sean Canfield, Keaton Kristick, Gregg Peat and Brandon Hardin.
• Game time weather was 48 degrees and sunny. Wind was 6 mph from the Southeast and humidity was at 65 percent.
• Prior to the game, the Beavers honored their senior class, which played in its final game at Reser Stadium. The seniors honored were: Damola Adeniji, Sean Canfield, Tim Clark, Howard Croom, Patrick Henderson, Taylor Kavanaugh, Keaton Kristick, Latu Moala, Lyle Moevao, Sioeli Nau, Gregg Peat & Ben Terry.
Oregon State Team Notes
• Oregon State improved to 35-15 (.700) since 2006, the second-best record in the Pac-10, trailing only USC.
• Oregon State improved to 27-6 (.818) in the months of October, November and December since 2006.
• The Beavers guaranteed themselves of a fourth-straight winning season with the win, which is Oregon State's seventh of the season. It is the longest streak for the Beavers since posting five consecutive winning seasons from 1966-70.
• Oregon State led 10-0 after the first half. The Beavers have outscored their opponents, 241-61, over the last 26 games. Over the last 50, that number jumps to a 276-85 advantage. OSU has allowed just 17 points in the last 11 first quarters, which is the best mark in the Pac-10.
• Oregon State has now won 18 of its last 20 games when one of its players rushes for 100 or more yards.
• The Beavers have now won six straight games over the Huskies, Oregon State's longest winning streak in the all-time series. Two of the six games have come in Corvallis.
• The Beavers' 48 points are the second-most scored by OSU against Washingon, trailing the 49 scored in 2001.
Oregon State Individual Notes
• With the win, Oregon State head coach Mike Riley tied Tommy Prothro (1955-64) with 63 victories. He is 11 victories shy of Lon Stiner's (1933-48) school-record 74 wins.
• Jacquizz Rodgers scored a 1-yard touchdown in the third quarter and another rushing score in the half to give him 108 points on the year. He is now one of nine Beavers to post at least 100 points in a single-season. The 108 points is good for fifth in single-season history.
• Jacquizz Rodgers finished the game with 159 yards rushing, giving him 1,148 on the year, which is the 10th-best single-season total in OSU history. He now has two 1,000-yard rushing seasons, joining him with Ken Simonton, Yvenson Bernard, Steven Jackson and Pete Pifer as OSU running backs with two or more 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
• Jacquizz Rodgers topped the 100-yard rushing mark, finishing with 159 yards rushing. He has 13 100-yard rushing games, and six this season. The 13 ties him for fourth-most in OSU history.
• Jacquizz Rodgers also now has 2,401 career rushing yards, good for fifth-most in team history.
• Jacquizz Rodgers finished with two rushing touchdowns. It is his fifth game with multiple rushing touchdowns this season and the eighth of his career. He has 17 rushing touchdowns this season, tying him for fourth-most in a single-season at Oregon State.
• Justin Kahut connected on two field goals of 44 yards in the first half. He has now made eight field goals of 40 or more yards this season, including seven from 40-49 yards.
• Sean Canfield set a personal best with four touchdown passes. He now has 34 for his career, which is fifth-most in OSU history.
• Canfield passed for 185 yards against the Huskies, giving him 5,265 for his career, keeping him in fifth place in team history.
• James Rodgers caught five passes to give him 71 on the year, which is the seventh-most in school history. He also has 141 for his career, placing him sixth all-time.
• James Rodgers finished with 176 all-purpose yards, giving him 4,544 for his career. That is fourth place in school history and places him one yard shy of tying No. 3 Steven Jackson.
• Oregon State running backs coach Reggie Davis improved to 7-0 all-time in the series between Washington and Oregon State. He was 5-0 as a player at Washington and now 2-0 as a coach at Oregon State.
