Eads Takes Third in 200 Butterfly at Final day in U.S. Open

San Antonio, Tex. - Freshman Courtney Eads saved her best for last at the U.S. Open Saturday night when she finished third in the 200 Butterfly with a time of 2:15.24. The third place finish for Eads was her best placing at the U.S. Open. Her time qualifies for an "A" standard in the event and also scores Oregon States only points at the meet. The 16 points earned by Eads' finish puts Oregon State in a tie for 67th place with Sharks Swim Team, Inc.
The third place finish for Eads capped off a successful meet where she finished 28th in the 200 freestyle, 29th in the 100 Butterfly, 23rd in the 400 freestyle, then culminated her performance with a third place finish today in the 200 Butterfly.
