Grant Swan

Grant lettered in track from 1919-22 and then coached the program from 1946-70.
He was a three-time Pacific Coast Conference champion miler and held the school record for 34 years. Swan was unbeaten in the mile during his college career. The Beavers won the 1946 conference title with Swan at the helm.
Swan was inducted into the State of Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 1980.
