Ed Lewis

Ed Lewis was named the best basketball player in the Northwest from 1900-1950 by the Oregon Journal.
The Portland, Ore., native was an All-American center and captain who led the 1933 team to the Pacific Coast Conference title. He lettered from 1931-33 and was a team captain as a senior.
Lewis' number "25" has been retired by Oregon State.
He was inducted into the State of Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 1980. He was also inducted into the Pac-12 Hall of Honor posthumously in 2005.
