Andrew Checketts led the Oregon State pitching staff in 1998 and was chosen as a second-team All-American by the NCBWA and third-teamer by Collegiate Baseball. The righty finished 11-1 with a 3.77 ERA in ‘98, and was named the Pac-10 North Division’s Most Valuable Player. Checketts was also selected All-Pac-12 North Division in 1997. He played at OSU from 1996-98 after transferring from Florida and was 24-7 with a 3.56 ERA in 37 games for the Beavers.
