Stephen Paea was one of the premier defensive tackles in the nation as a senior. The two-time team captain became the second Beaver to earn the Pac-10 Conference’s Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year honor in 2010 and added his second straight Morris Trophy given to the league’s top defensive linemen as voted on by the conference’s offensive linemen. Paea was selected to the Associated Press and Sports Illustrated All-American First Team in 2010. Paea was selected in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears.
