Dave Brundage starred as both a pitcher and outfielder for the Beavers and in 1986 was named a Second-Team All-American by the ABCA. He batted .366 with eight home runs and 44 RBI that season. On the mound, he was 8-4 with a 3.19 ERA. Brundage added to his list of accomplishments by being named the Pac-10 North Division’s Most Valuable Player. He was also selected all-Pac-10 North in 1985. Brundage batted .350 for his career, doubling 27 times with 12 home runs and 93 RBI. On the mound, he was 7-3 with a 2.14 ERA.
