Inside linebacker Avery Roberts led the Pac-12 with 128 total tackles during the 2021 season and was named a Third-Team All-American by Phil Steele. Roberts was named an All-Pac-12 First Teamer by the conference’s coaches in 2020 and 2021. His 128 tackles in 2021 put him into a tie for fifth-most in a single season at Oregon State. He was the only player in the Pac-12 to average better than 10 tackles per game in 2021, and one of 11 nationally. He lettered for the Beavers in 2019, 2020 and 2021 and ended his career with 280 tackles, just shy of the top 10 in the school’s record books.
