Abby Roos became the first All-American in Oregon State women's rowing history in 2001. Roos earned three letters for the Beavers (1999-2001) helping her team to NCAA Championship berths in 1999 and 2000 where OSU finished 13th and 15th respectively.
In 2001, Roos was named as a CRCA All-Region First Team selection and received CRCA All-America Second Team honors. She also secured Pac-10 All-Conference First Team honors in 2001 and was a CRCA All-Scholar selection in 2000 and 2001 as well.
