A seven-time All-American, Chari Knight is one of two Beaver gymnasts with All-America honors in four different events (all-around, uneven bars, balance beam & floor exercise).
As a freshman in 1991, Knight tied for second on the bars, was third on beam and placed fifth in the all-around at NCAA Championships. Her second-place finish on the bars ties for the best-ever by an Oregon State gymnast.
As a sophomore, she tied for fifth on the floor to gain her fourth All-America honor.
After missing the 1993 Championships due to injury, Knight returned as a senior to secure three more All-America accolades earning first team honors on beam and floor and second team in the all-around in 1994.
She was inducted into the State of Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 2005 and was part of the class of 2003 entered into the Oregon State University Athletics Hall of Fame.
