Val Williams was the first women’s soccer player to be named an All-American after being a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (currently United Soccer Coaches) Third Team All-American in 1995. Williams led the team in 1995 in goals (15), assists (seven), points (37) and shots (53). Her named is scattered throughout the OSU record book holding the record for most consecutive games with a goal with 11 while also recording another time that she had five consecutive games with a point. Williams holds the top-two spots for points in a single season and goals in a single season. The Citrus Heights, Calif. native finished her career with 34 goals, 13 game-winning goals, 16 assists and 84 points while also being named to the All-Pac-10 First Team in 1995.
