Tony Vlastelica played for Oregon State from 1952-55 and was named an All-American in 1955.
Known for taking a hook shot with 80 percent of his attempts, Vlastelica helped lead Oregon State to a 22-8 record and 15-1 mark in the Pacific Coast Conference in 1954-55. The team beat UCLA in the first two games of a best-of-three series to advance to the NCAA Tournament where they beat Seattle before losing to eventual national champion San Francisco by one point.
Vlastelica played professionally in Italy for three years after leaving Oregon State. He was selected by Rochester in the 1955 NBA Draft.
