Markus Wheaton finished his career as one of the most prolific receivers in Oregon State history. As a senior he tied the single season school-record with 91 receptions en route to setting the school’s career record with 227 catches. His 2,994 career receiving yards are third on OSU’s all-time list, and 3,744 all-purpose yards are ninth at OSU. A Pac-12 Conference First Team selection as a senior and honorable mention as a junior, CBSSports.com honored Wheaton with Third Team All-America accolades. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
