The Beavers improved to 22-4 with the win

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Adley Rutschman's blooper to center was dropped by Nevada's Cole Krzmarzick, enabling Cadyn Grenier to score from third in the 11^th inning to send No. 4 Oregon State to a 3-2 win on Monday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.

The Beavers loaded the bases via a single by Grenier, walk by Steven Kwan and hit by pitch, all with two down, off Nevada reliever Keone Cabinian. Rutschman then blooped a 1-0 pitch from Cabinian into center, and it looked like the teams were headed to the 12^th. But the ball was dropped, sending OSU to the extra-innings win.

Rutschman didn't get an RBI and the run was unearned. Nevertheless, it sent OSU to its 22^nd win of the season. The Beavers are 22-4 this season while the Wolf Pack now stands at 15-10.

Jake Mulholland earned the win after going 3 2/3 innings in relief. The sophomore held Nevada to one hit and a walk while striking out two. He is 1-0 on the year.

Cabinian was charged with the loss, and is 0-1.

The Beavers scored first on a Jack Anderson double in the second, but saw the Wolf Pack go up 2-1 via solo runs in both the fourth and sixth innings.

Grenier doubled to left with one down in the ninth, and scored his first of two runs on the night via Kwan's single to center, tying the game at two.

Grant Gambrell started for the Beavers and scattered two hits and two runs in 5 1/3 innings. His counterpart, Weston Hatten, held Oregon State to three hits and two runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Pearce Note
Dylan Pearce made his 11^th relief appearance of the season and held Nevada scoreless over 1 2/3 innings. The right-hander has worked at least one inning in nine of his 11 appearances, and has kept opponents scoreless in eight of those outings.
