Jack Anderson, Adley Rutschman and Zak Taylor all tallied two hits but the Beavers dropped an 8-4 decision to Washington Sunday in a three-game series finale at Goss Stadium. Taylor drove in two runs, while Rutschman and Andy Armstrong accounted for one apiece.
Thursday Through Saturday
The series is running Thursday through Saturday due to Easter on Sunday. It is one of three series to start on Thursday; the others come against Oregon April 19-21 and versus UCLA (May 24-26). Both of those series are to be televised.
Versus Utah
OSU is making its fourth trip to Salt Lake City since the Utes entered what is now the Pac-12. The Beavers last took two-of-three in SLC in 2016 and are 7-2 all-time in the series as the road team. OSU has won all six series versus Utah since 2012.

Andy Armstrong extended his hit streak to 10 games with a double versus Washington Sunday. He is 13-for-33 (.394) with six doubles and 10 runs batted in during the streak.

Adley Rutschman hit safely in all three games versus UW and carries a five-game hit streak into the series with Utah. He was 8-for-12 (.667) with three doubles, a triple and four RBI against the Huskies.
