Last Game
Five Oregon State pitchers combined to limit San Diego State to three hits and a run as the Beavers defeated the Aztecs, 8-1, Wednesday night to finish the midweek series. Oregon State scored four runs in the first and three in the seventh to notch the team's 20th win of the season. Jake Pfennigs picked up his first career win after throwing two scoreless innings.

In The Seventh
Adley Rutschman has turned to "Clutchman" in the seventh inning since coming to Oregon State. He is 24-for-65 (.369) with 10 doubles, two home runs and 29 RBI in the inning. He was 18-for-36 (.500) with nine doubles and 17 RBI in 2018 alone.

Rutschman & Eisert
Adley Rutschman and Brandon Eisert were named to Perfect Game's Midseason All-America First Team, which the publication announced on Wednesday. Rutschman is batting .417 with eight home runs, 31 runs batted in and 39 walks this season. Eisert is 6-0 with a 0.30 earned run average and 44 strikeouts to just five walks in 30 innings.

Baseballism
Baseballism made its debut on Wednesday night and will continue to sell at Oregon State home games. The "premium off the field brand focusing on the class, tradition and history of baseball" will be located down the left field line at "Banners."

The Bullpen
The Oregon State bullpen combined to limit San Diego State to 11 1/3 scoreless innings through two games, allowing five hits and two walks. Overall this season, the bullpen has given up just 18 earned runs in 114 2/3 innings, an ERA of 1.41, while striking out 133 to 40 walks and 71 hits allowed.
