Beavers at Trio of Meets this Weekend

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State track & field team is back in action this week at a trio of meets. The Beavers are splitting duties between the Jim Click Multis (April 5-7), Baylor Invitational (April 7) and John Knight Twilight (April 6).

The Beavers are sending two to compete in the women's heptathlon at the Jim Click Multis. This is the first full heptathlon for Saskia McNairy and Claire Corbitt this season.

The throwers have had an early impact this season, already setting three school records in the first few weeks of the season. The Beavers look to continue their success at the Baylor Invitational this weekend.

Those participating in the Baylor Invitational are as follows: Jessica Molina (shot put, hammer throw), Sydney Guthrie-Baker (shot put, hammer throw), Lindsay McShane (discus, hammer throw), Destiny Dawson (javelin), Delaney Hall (javelin), Amber Peschka (javelin), McKenzie Allison (javelin).

A small contingent of student-athletes will make the short trip up to Monmouth, Ore. to Western Oregon to partake in the John Knight Twilight.

The Beavers came in at No. 23 in the first regional rankings released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association this week.
