Favorite college subject: That is a tough question. I like a lot of my classes so far, but I probably enjoyed all my math classes the most so far.

What is your best academic achievement to date?
3.5 GPA in my first year at Oregon State.

What do you want to do after you graduate from Oregon State?
I definitely want to see how far the journey can go and I want to see how good I can get as a golfer.

When and where did you start playing golf?
I started playing golf when I was 9-years-old. I started playing at one of my favorite courses, Wittelsbacher Golf Club. It is pretty close to Munich. The course almost got the Ryder Cup in 2018.

Have you ever gotten a hole-in-one? If so, when and where for each?
No. I am still patiently waiting.

What's your favorite golf course and why?
I probably have to say my home course. The oldest and tallest oaks you will ever see in your life combined with great design and 7,600 yards from the back tees makes it one of the most challenging and most beautiful golf courses I know. It is a tough decision though.

Why did you choose to attend Oregon State?
The coaches, the team, the academics, the golf tournaments and courses we play could not be better. I mean it is a Pac-12 school.

What do you like best about your teammates?
The fact that we compete on the golf course and in the gym to push ourselves but at the same time we are best friends off the golf course and actually do everything together all the time. Our team is as close as it can get.

What do you like best about your coaches?
I do not think that I ever had a coach who cares so much about your well being than Jon. As long as you give all you got he does not care about the result.

What do you like best about Corvallis?
I love playing on the soccer fields or playing basketball in Dixon. Just having the opportunity to play all sports whenever you want is just amazing. Also that everything is so close is nice and that I can walk to class from my house.

Who is the most famous person you've played golf with?
Probably Dustin Johnson and Martin Kaymer.

Who would be in your dream foursome?
Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and me.

If you could play a different college sport at Oregon State, what would it be and why?
Definitely soccer. I grew up in Germany and soccer is my second love after golf.

What is your best athletic achievement to date?
I finished fifth at the Youth Olympic Games in China in 2014. And I also have to add my 63 in Hawai'i this year where I tied the Oregon State single-round record.

What are your team and individual goals for the season?
I definitely want to make it to postseason. As an individual, I just want to be able to walk off the course the next couple of tournaments and be proud of myself regardless from the score I shoot.

Through the power of sport, we help people discover and pursue their passions, talents and purpose in order to live a life of balance and positive contribution.
