Oregon State nets perfect 1,000
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's basketball team has posted a perfect Academic Progress Rate multi-year score of 1,000 for the third consecutive year.
The NCAA's APR measures eligibility, graduation and retention each academic term and provides a clear picture of the academic performance for each team in every sport. Oregon State was also recognized with an APR Public Recognition Award last week.
The Beavers join Stanford as the only Pac-12 teams to post a perfect score this season, and Oregon State sits alongside Louisville and Notre Dame as teams to record a 1,000 APR and also make this year's Elite Eight.
Oregon State had five players earn Pac-12 All-Academic honors this season, and has had a total of 26 conference academic honors over the last five seasons. Sophomore guard Mikayla Pivec highlighted the Beavers' plaudits for classroom performance this year, earning CoSIDA Academic All-District recognition, as well as a Pac-12 Academic First Team nod.
On the floor, Oregon State made the Elite Eight this season for the second time in program history. The Beavers have now made the Sweet 16 in three-straight seasons, and finished the 2017-18 campaign with record of 26-8.
Season tickets for the 2018-19 season are available now. The upcoming year will feature a number of upgrades to Gill Coliseum, highlighted by a center-hung video board. Oregon State will also begin charging for parking next season. For more information on season tickets and the upgrades to Gill Coliseum, click here.
