QUICKLY
• The Beavers wrapped up the regular season ranked at No. 14.
• All four of OSU's lineups are ranked among the top 25 in the nation. The floor lineup is the highest ranked for the Beavers at No. 7 (49.380 regional qualifying score), vault is at No. 18 (49.135), beam is also ranked 18th (49.165) and bars is at No. 21 (49.200).
• OSU's roster includes two All-Americans ... Dani Dessaints was an NACGC/W Regular Season All-American (second team) on the vault in 2017 and Kaitlyn Yanish was named as a Regular Season All-American second teamer on the floor last week.
• Dani Dessaints was named, last week, as one of 10 finalists for the AAI Award, annually given to the top senior gymnast in the nation.
• Oregon State has been a model of consistency in 2018. While the Beavers' RQS has them ranked at No. 14, they have posted the eighth-highest average score in the nation. The teams ranked ahead of OSU would be the same teams ranked 1-7 (in the same order) by RQS.
• The Beavers have not counted a fall in 2018 ... they counted two falls in 2017 - both in a road meet at Seattle Pacific.
• OSU has tallied just one score below 196 this season for the first time in program history.
• The Beavers are also one of seven teams to post fewer than two scores of less than 196.
OSU AT NCAA REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Here are some quick hitters about Oregon State's history in the NCAA Regional Championships:
• Oregon State has reached the regional round of postseason competition for the 44th straight season.
• OSU has won regional titles 10 time including twice under Tanya Chaplin's leadership (2008 and 2011).
• Thirty-four OSU gymnasts have combined to win 71 individual regional titles.
• Senior Dani Dessaints already has an NCAA Regional title on her resume after winning the vault with a score of 9.925 at the Champaign Regional in 2017. Last year, Kaytianna McMillan also secured the all-around title for the Beavers.
• Oregon State has not faced any of the other five teams in the competition this season.
VS. LSU
Oregon State meets LSU for the 22nd time this week (17th time at a neutral site). The last time the teams met was at the 2016 regional in Athens, Ga. The Tigers won the regional that year while the Beavers finished third.
VS. NEBRASKA
In this field, OSU is most familiar competing against Nebraska having met 25 times previously. The most recent meeting came at the 2015 NCAA Championships in the evening session of the preliminary round. OSU finished sixth in the session while the Huskers were fourth.
VS. GEORGE WASHINGTON
The Beavers hold a 4-0 advantage over GW. OSU met the Colonials at the Athens Regional in 2016 earning a third-place finish, while GW was fifth.
VS. NC STATE
OSU and NC State have met just once in gymnastics over the course of the two programs' history. The Beavers defeated the Wolfpack at the 2015 NCAA Regionals in Norman, Okla. That season, OSU advanced to nationals with a second-place finish while NC State finished fifth.
VS. MARYLAND
Oregon State has a 3-0 lead in the all-time series with the last meeting coming at the 2014 University Park Regional. OSU finished third in that meet while the Terrapins finished sixth.
LAST YEAR AT REGIONALS
The Beavers entered the NCAA Champaign Regional as the second-seeded team and advanced despite a tough meet. Illinois, which was seeded fourth and was the home team, performed well and were in second place for most of the meet. OSU and Illinois sat tied entering the final rotation when the Beavers produced a strong floor set to pull ahead. However, it was an unexpected push from third-seeded Iowa on the beam that put a scare in the Orange & Black. The Hawkeyes scored 49.600 in the final rotation coming up just one-tenth short of the Beavers. Kaytianna McMillan won the all-around (39.400) and delivered a meet-high tying 9.875 on the floor to send the team on to NCAA Championships. Dani Dessaints delivered a 9.925 on the vault in the opening rotation that held up throughout the afternoon to win the regional title.
OREGON STATE NOTES
• The Beavers returned just nine out of 24 routines from the 2017 NCAA Championships lineup ... OSU has received significant contributions from a group of five sophomores - Halli Briscoe, Destinee Davis, Lena Greene, Maela Lazaro and Alyssa Minyard - who have combined to hit 55 of 57 routines after combining to provide only one routine as freshmen in 2017. The quintet has combined for 14 event titles in 2018.
• Oregon State has 'hit' 253 out of 264 (95.8%) routines in 2018 ... in comparison, the Beavers 'hit' 300 out of 312 (96.2%) routines last year.
• The Beavers have hit 24-for-24 only three times in 2018. The first came in their fourth meet of the season, at home against Arizona State; while the others have come in the last two meets - at Sacramento State and at Pac-12 Championships.
• Through 11 meets, OSU's youthful squad, which includes 13 out of 19 underclassmen, the production breakdown looks like this: Sophomores have performed 105 of 264 routines in 2018 (39.8%), juniors have produced 87 of 264 (33.0%), freshmen 43 of 264 (16.3%) and seniors 29 of 264 (11.0%).
• Of particular note is that OSU sophomores only performed 40 routines (out of 312) for the Beavers as freshmen last year.
• Thirteen out of OSU's 17 opponents on the 2018 schedule are currently ranked in the Top 36; No. 2 LSU, No. 3 UCLA, No. 4 Utah, No. 8 Washington, No. 9 California, No. 11 Nebraska, No. 17 Arizona State, No. 19 George Washington, No. 20 NC State, No. 21 BYU, No. 26 Stanford, No. 31 Maryland and No. 33 Pittsburgh
• Oregon State went an undefeated 5-0 at Gill Coliseum in 2018 including four wins over Top 25 teams - No. 23 Stanford, No. 12 Arizona State, No. 24 Arizona and No. 21 BYU.
• Fifteen of the Beavers' 19 gymnasts earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher during fall term ... as a team, the Beavers earned a 3.4778 GPA in the fall.

• The Beavers hit all 24 routines for just the third time this season, and second time in as many weeks.
• McKenna Singley scored 39.250 in the all-around to finish 13th.
• OSU's highest finisher was Dani Dessaints, who scored 9.90 on the bars to tie for fourth overall
• Sophomore Destinee Davis scored 9.875 on beam to tie for top honors in the afternoon session.
