January 26, 2018 | Women's Track & Field
SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oregon State track & field team continued the 2017 indoor season on Friday at the UW Invitational at the Dempsey Indoor Center.
The Beavers set seven all-time top-10 performances throughout the day, highlighted by Lindsay McShane in the weight throw. McShane topped her personal best by over a foot setting the second-best all-time mark with a 51-foot 11.75-inch toss. Sydney Guthrie-Baker was the Beavers other entrant in the weight throw. Guthrie-Baker recorded the 5th best all-time mark with a throw of 49-feet 4.25-inches.
Marin Zaccheo ran a 26.75 200 meters setting the No. 8 all-time mark at OSU. Dakota Steen was close behind finishing in 26.97, recording the 9th all-time finish.
The Beavers were plentifully present in the Pole Vault. Annie Sidor claimed an 8th place finish with her 11-foot 10.75-inch clear. Sidor's jump broke her own previous mark and moved her up to 3rd all-time at Oregon State in the event. Tory Edwards best clear was a 10-foot 5.25-inch jump, good enough for 4th all-time, while Ryleigh Crenshaw's jump of 10-feet 5.25-inches sits her at 5th all-time.
In the pentathlon, Claire Corbitt finished in 26th place with 2,784 points. Saskia McNairy also entered into the pentathlon, but didn't compete in all events.
