Mueller Earns TDS Team of Week Honor

CORVALLIS – Oregon State men's soccer standout Timmy Mueller has notched his second Team of the Week honor, making the Top Drawer Soccer Best XI for the week of Aug. 29-Sept. 4.

Mueller, who was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week on Monday, scored a hat trick against San Jose State on Friday. The 2015 Pac-12 All-Academic First-Teamer's three-goal performance was the second hat trick of his career, and brought his career goal total to 20. The weekly honors did not include the Beavers' victory over Ohio State on Monday.

Oregon State has opened the 2016 season undefeated through the first four matches of the campaign. The Beavers notched a 3-0 win over San Jose State on Friday, and followed that up by beating Ohio State in double-overtime on Don Tchilao's golden goal on Monday.

The Beavers will face another stiff test on Friday, as they head to Ohio for a matchup with Akron.
