The Oregon State women's soccer team will conclude a five-game homestand this weekend as it faces North Texas on Friday night starting at 5 p.m., before playing Boise State on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Beavers hit the road to Michigan for their first road trip of the season next weekend. Oregon State will face Michigan State on Friday at 11 a.m., before playing Eastern Michigan on Sunday at 10 a.m. Both times are Pacific.

A WIN ON FRIDAY WOULD • Be the 240th win in program history. • Be OSU's first win against North Texas (second meeting). • Be HC Linus Rhode's first win over North Texas (second meeting). • Be the Beavers second win of the season and second at Paul Lorenz Field. SERIES HISTORY • Sunday's match will mark the second meeting between Oregon State and North Texas. • The Mean Green hold a 1-0 advantage going into the non-conference battle. • The series started back in 2014 with NT winning 1-0 at Denton, Texas. SERIES HISTORY • Sunday's match will mark the third meeting between Oregon State and Boise State. • The series started back in 2000 with a 2-1 overtime win at Paul Lorenz Field. • The last meeting ended in a 3-3 back in 2007 at the Montana Nike Cup. SCOUTING THE BRONCOS • Boise State well enter the weekend with a 1-2 record and will face Oregon on Friday night before playing the Beavers Sunday. • Boise State finished the 2015 season with a 7-9-4 overall record for a 6th place finish in the MW. • HC for the Broncos is Jim Thomas in his 4th season and has compiled a 30-27-10 overall record entering the weekend. • The Broncos are 2-12-4 all-time against Pac-12 opponents and hold a 2-2-2 mark under HC Thomas. |
