Jones Makes TDS Team of the Week

Junior Tallied Two Goals and One Assist
CORVALLIS – Junior forward Jordan Jones has earned a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week, the site announced Tuesday morning.
Jones tallied two goals and one assist over the weekend, helping the Beavers claim the Hensor/Zaher Classic title for the third consecutive season. The Sociology major netted the Beavers' only goal in Friday's 1-1 draw with DePaul, and then followed it up by notching OSU's second score in Sunday's 4-0 victory over Wright State. Jones also provided an assist on Jesse Garcia's goal, the Beavers' third of the afternoon.
Jones currently leads Oregon State with 42 career points on 19 goals and four assists. He also leads the Pac-12 in points through the first weekend of the season, with a total of five.
Oregon State now sets its sights on the Portland Nike Classic, which begins on Friday. The Beavers will host two games as part of the tournament, taking on San Jose State on Friday evening, before facing Ohio State on Monday Sept. 5 (Labor Day).
