
Anderson earns All-Academic honors

USTFCCCA award is seventh of her career
Morgan Anderson and the Oregon State women's track & field team earned high academic awards for the 2016 season from the United States Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches Association.
A redshirt junior from Scotts Mills, Ore., who graduated from Silverton High School, Anderson garnered individual All-Academic honors. She has a 3.87 cumulative grade-point average in English.
It is the seventh time Anderson has been honored for her academic accomplishments. She has earned Pacific-12 Conference all-academic honors in track three times and in cross country twice, and twice earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation indoor all-academic honors.
The Beavers ranked 24th of 220 women's team honored. The 45-woman team had a combined GPA of 3.51. OSU ranked third in the Pac-12, behind Stanford (3.59) and Arizona State (3.57).
