Seniors Picknell, Howard, Lewis picked by teammates
Seniors Rachel Picknell, Lucinda Howard and Samantha Lewis were elected captains of the 2016-17 Oregon State track & field team. Voting was done by the team members.
"They are incredibly worthy of this honor and will represent their teammates and this program in all the right ways," OSU coach Kelly Sullivan said. "Being voted and named a team captain is one of the greatest honors a student-athlete can achieve at every level.
The team is first, and setting the example is paramount to them." "It says a lot about the person. They know and have shown it is an honor to represent their team, alums, school and community, and to wear the orange and black.
