July 27, 2016 | Football
Football season is upon us, and there is no better way to start your year by joining the Oregon State Beavers Saturday, Aug. 6 at Summit High School in Bend for the team's second practice.Â
The open practice for fans begins at 10:15 a.m. and will end at approximately 1 p.m. Benny Beaver, OSU ticket and Our Beaver Nation personnel will be at Saturday's practice to interact and answer any questions you have about attending a game at Reser Stadium this season. The Beavers have an attractive seven-game home slate that includes the annual Civil War rivalry.
Fans are also invited to join fellow Beaver Nation members for an informal gathering at the Deschutes Brewery located at 1044 NW Bond Street Friday, August 5 from 5-8 p.m. OSU's Ideation Team will present a virtual reality experience of the ongoing $42 million renovation of the Valley Football Center. The event will also be the first opportunity to obtain "Orange Passes" for The Terrace, OSU's new 13,000-square foot area overlooking the Reser Stadium playing field featuring Oregon award winning food, wine and beer.Â
Family Fun Day returns to the preseason schedule Friday, August 12, beginning at 5 p.m. with the first scrimmage of August's camp. The scrimmage will end at approximately 7 p.m., followed by an autograph session and the movie Remember The Titans, sponsored by Paventy and Brown Orthodontics. Family Fun Day is free of charge and located at Reser Stadium.
The Beavers will hold their final public access scrimmage Thursday, August 18 at 10:30 a.m. at Reser Stadium.
