July 26, 2016 | Men's Basketball
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's basketball team will open Pac-12 play at Gill Coliseum against UCLA and USC and end it at home with the Civil War, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Other Pac-12 home games include matchups with California, Stanford, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah. The Civil War will be the final-regular season game between the two schools in the most-contested rivalry in college basketball.
In two seasons under head coach Wayne Tinkle, Oregon State is 27-5 (.844) at Gill Coliseum, including wins over No. 7 Arizona and No. 21 USC.
The Washington schools won't visit Corvallis and the Beavers will not make a trip to Arizona this season.
Oregon State is coming off a season in which it reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 26 years. The Beavers went 19-13 overall with wins over seven teams that advanced to the Big Dance. OSU finished in a three-way tie for sixth place with a 9-9 Pac-12 mark, its best conference record since 1993.
